GSK Scholarship is a CSR initiative of GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Ltd. It is a private scholarship programme for those who are pursuing medicine courses after passing class 12. Eligible students may get up to ₹1,00,000 per year. GSK scholarship is given to financially constrained and deserving students.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITION
The GSK Scholarship programme does not guarantee of applying candidate. Candidates of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year of the MBBS Program are not eligible.
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must pass class 12 with a minimum of 65%.
- Pursuing MBBS course from government medical college.
- Candidate must be in the first year of the MBBS course.
- Family Annual Income should be less than 6Lakhs from all sources.
- Children of employees GiveIndia, GSK, and Buddy4study are not eligible.
SCHOLARSHIP’S BENEFIT
The scholarship is given for the complete MBBS course which means eligible candidates will get this scholarship for the entire 4.5 years. Upto 1 Lakh scholarship will be given every year for students pursuing MBBS courses, with a total of 4.5 lakhs.
NOTE: Scholarship funds can only be utilised for academic expenses which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, hostel fees, food and seminars. If funds still remain, they will be used for stationery, online learning, and payment of internet/data pack bills.

- A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/voter identity card/driving license/PAN card)
- Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
- Family income proof (salary slip, Form 16, Income Certificate, ITR)
- Bank account details of the applicant
- Photograph of the applicant
SELECTION PROCESS
It is a multi-stage process. The complete Selection process is given below-
- Shortlisting of the applicants on the basis of academic performance and financial background.
- Document verification of shortlisted candidates.
- Selected candidates called for an Online Interview.

- You will now be redirected to the ‘GSK Scholar Programme’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
